A good beauty salon website does three things: it shows every service with its price and duration, lets a client book a slot without phoning, and helps the salon get found on Google. Everything else is extra. Instagram creates interest, the website is where that interest becomes an appointment.
Below we go through what a beauty salon site must have, how to connect Instagram to booking and what it all costs. We use the example of Molekula, a studio in Smíchov we built the website for.
Why Instagram alone is not enough
Instagram is a great shop window and a poor reception desk. A client sees a photo of brows or lashes, likes it, and then has to send a message, wait for a reply and agree on a time. Some people drop off right there, because it is late or they do not want to call.
A website shortens that step. The full price list, opening hours, address and, above all, a booking button sit in one place. The link in your Instagram bio then leads straight to a free slot instead of a phone number.
Walk-ins and Google searchers matter just as much. Someone looking for a beautician nearby does not scroll Instagram. They search Google and Maps, and that is where your website and business profile decide.
What a beauty salon website must have
A salon site does not need to be big. It does need to answer everything clients ask at the door or in messages. With Molekula we started exactly there: we listed the questions the studio heard most often and gave each one a place on the site.
- The full price list split into fields (facials, waxing, brows, lashes and so on), with price and duration for every service.
- Booking on every service, not just one button in the header.
- Photos from the salon itself, not stock images. Clients want to see where they are going.
- Directions: map, address, opening hours, parking if relevant.
- A link to Instagram and back, so both places support each other.
- Speed on mobile, because most clients arrive from a phone.
Copy should be short and specific. A client does not need a paragraph about your philosophy of care. She needs to know what the treatment involves, how long it takes and what it costs.
The same goes for the look. A salon website should feel like the salon itself: calm, clean and in the brand's colours. For Molekula we started from the warm brown of the logo, white space and a light typeface, so the site would not look like another template. When a client arrives from Instagram, she should know she is in the right place.

A price list that works as a signpost
A common mistake is a price list uploaded as an image or PDF. It reads badly on a phone, Google can barely use it and, above all, nothing can be booked from it. A price list written on the page, split into clear groups, works much better.
For Molekula we split the price list into five fields, from electrolysis to brows and lashes. Each service has a photo from the studio, a price and a duration. Clients choose before they even write, and the studio gets fewer repeated questions about prices.
A price list on a website is not just a table. It is a signpost that leads straight to a booking.
Booking from Instagram in one click
What matters most is keeping the path from interest to appointment as short as possible. On Molekula's site every service has a button that opens the booking with that treatment already selected. The client does not search or type anything, she just picks a time.
There are two ways to handle the booking itself. We either connect a proven booking tool and match it to the site's design, or build a custom booking system into the website. We compare both in Custom booking system or off the shelf.
- 1A client sees a post on Instagram and taps the link in the bio.
- 2She lands on the website and finds the service with price and duration.
- 3She taps the button next to the service and the booking opens with the treatment preselected.
- 4She picks a slot and gets a confirmation, the salon sees it in the calendar.
How we handle it
We build the site so an e-shop for cosmetics or a custom booking system can be added later without a rebuild. With Molekula we talked about both from day one, but first people needed a place to land from the street and from Instagram.

How clients find a beauty salon on Google
Local search works differently from Instagram. People type something like „beautician Smíchov“ and Google shows a map of businesses nearby. To appear there, a salon needs a complete Google Business Profile and a website that the profile links to.
A few basics help on the website: your own domain, services described in the words people actually search for, address and opening hours in the text and in structured data, and fast loading on mobile. Google indexes the mobile version of a site first, so a slow or broken mobile layout costs you rankings.
That is why the last step for Molekula was its own domain, a map, structured data for Google and a link to the business profile. More on local SEO in Why Google cannot find you.
What a beauty salon website costs
A smaller salon is often fine with a one-page site with the price list, contact and booking. With us that starts at CZK 14,900. If you want more pages, for example a separate page for each treatment field, a custom website starts at CZK 24,900. Connecting a proven booking tool starts at CZK 1,900, and the tool itself is paid separately.
Automatic appointment reminders, which help against no-shows, are set up from CZK 1,900 and then run from CZK 290 a month. You can work out a budget in our pricing calculator, and we always agree a fixed price up front.
How it works with us
We start with a short conversation about what the salon does and where clients come from. Then we build a free demo of the website before you pay anything. If you like it, you pay a 40% deposit and we finish the site, with the balance due after handover.
The full Molekula story, from questions at the door to booking from Instagram, is in the case study. If you want a similar site for your salon, get in touch and we will prepare a free demo.
FAQ
- 1
Does a beauty salon need a website if it has Instagram?
Yes, if you want clients to book on their own and people on Google to find you. Instagram creates interest, the website turns it into an appointment and gets you onto the map.
- 2
How much does a beauty salon website cost?
With us a one-page site starts at CZK 14,900 and a multi-page custom website at CZK 24,900. Connecting a booking tool starts at CZK 1,900, the tool itself is paid separately.
- 3
Can online booking be linked to Instagram?
Yes. The bio link leads to the website, and every service opens the booking with that treatment preselected, so the client only picks a time.
- 4
Should a salon price list be a PDF?
Better not. A price list on the page reads better on mobile, Google understands it and every item can have its own booking button.
